Fun Services Joins Forces with Marine Toys for Tots
Fun Services is a proud Corporate Sponsor with Marine Toys for Totsproviding donated gifts for the Toys for Tots Program. When a child purchases a gift “Tagged as Toys for Tots” at a Holiday Gift Shop or Santa’s Secret Shop program, Fun Services will donate a gift of equal value.
Fun Services nationally donated $100,000 this spring and are looking for your support to help us more than double that number next year!
The Holiday Gift Shop/Santa’s Secret Shop is a program run through elementary schools where Fun Services provides everything needed for a gift shop set up at the school run by parent volunteers. Fun Services provides the gifts along with promotional materials, cash registers and gift bags so all that is needed is volunteers to run the shop. The Holiday Gift Shop/Santa’s Secret Shop allows students to purchase gifts for their family and friends without or with limited parent involvement. The gifts are kid-priced so students can bring in money they saved, purchase items and place them in a self-sealing gift bag to bring home.
The mission of the Toys for Tots Program run by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. Through Fun Services, children will have gifts for their family and friends and help bring toys to the less fortunate by choosing gifts that qualify to be donated to Toys for Tots. Kids helping Kids has never been so FUN!
Marine Toys for Tots Program is managed by the United States Marines and local volunteers. The objectives of the Foundation are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to improving communities in the future.
